Watermelon Seeds

Are you planning on growing watermelon.

Click here for some great deals on watermelon seeds!

My kids love growing flowers and plants. And there's nothing like growing food and then getting to eat it!

So far they have grown potatoes, peppers (birds love these!), cherry tomoatoes, olives, and some spices.

Lately the've been talking about growing watermelon, so we've researched into buying seeds. Amazon has some great deals, so I decided to share them with you.

Keep in mind that watermelon need plenty of sunshine. You will need a lot of fertilizer and water. Make sure the soil is moist all the time.

You will be able to tell when your watermelon is ready by tapping on them. Listen to the sound. If you hear a dull thump, you know it is ready for you to harvest. Also check to see if the stem has dried and shrivelled - that's another sign that your watermelon is ready for you to eat.
